Before I started working on this project I gathered references. I didn’t want to spend too much time designing the engine so I heavily relied on real-life reference images. I searched for reference images on google and watched a few videos. My main inspiration was a horizontal steam engine. I found a few design variations of this engine. I combined different design variations together and created my own design.
